Troubleshooting
My ShoeBox SFF PC does not start
- Check
if the PC is turned on.
- Check
if the power cable is connected on the socket is on.
Nothing is visible on the screen
- Check
if the monitor is turned on.
- Check
if the monitor is connected to the VGA port at the rear of the computer.
- Does
the computer have more than one VGA port? Check that the monitor is
connected to the right port.
- Check
if the monitor is connected and powered on.
No sound is audible
- Check
if the speaker is connected properly.
- Are
the speakers turned on and connected to power?
- Make
sure that the speakers have not been muted under Windows or that the
volume has been turned down very low (double click the speaker icon next
to the clock)
- Is
the volume controller on the speaker turned down?
My keyboard or mouse does not function properly
- Check
if these are properly connected to the computer. Remove the cable and blow
gently into the connector socket to remove any dust that may have
accumulated there.
- If
you are using a mouse with a ball, try to clean the ball using a soft
tissue. Clean the inside of the mouse using slightly damp piece of cotton.
