Shuttle LinuXPCs with SUSE Linux Operating System is available immediately in the UK
Shuttle LinuXPC running SUSE Linux operating systemShuttle Inc., the market leader in the Mini-PC sector and manufacturer of Multi-Form-Factor solutions, is now also selling its Mini-PCs with the Linux Operating System in the UK. The two compact PCs made of aluminium can be individually configured in the official Shuttle Systems Configurator. They are delivered pre-installed and ready to connect and include the 24 months Pick-up-and-Return Service for reliable help in the case of a warranty claim.

Can also be configured in the Shuttle Systems Configurator with DVI-interface

"After the market launch of the Linux-based Complete Systems in Germany in September, we have received many enquiries from the UK", explains Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "We are already planning our expansion into other European countries."

To coincide with today’s launch of the English-language version, Shuttle is now also offering the LinuXPCs in Austria.

The Mini-PC solutions based on reliable Intel chipset and processor technology can now be ordered with a DVI digital visual interface enabling the LinuXPCs to optimise the display on large TFT-monitors.

Two variants in two different colours are available: The Shuttle LinuXPC SD3002W runs the SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 SP1 and the Shuttle LinuXPC SD3002Q comes with the pre-installed openSUSE Operating System.

Both variants are convincing as regards their hardware through their DDR2-memories, Multi-Core processor support, I.C.E. Heatpipe cooling technology, PCI-Express x16 and PCI-slot, gigabit- network, 8 channel audio, FireWire and a powerful 250 watt power supply.

The devices are available immediately in specialist retailers (Germany, UK and Austria). Shuttle’s recommended prices for the basic configurations are € 436 for the LinuXPC SD3002W and € 402 for the LinuXPC SD3002Q (without VAT).

Both systems can be configured in the Shuttle Systems Configurator:
